The Didsbury Mac

At Pretty Green, we’ve been producing Mac-style coats since our inception. For our Spring ‘25 collection, we introduce a new variation: the Didsbury Mac, available in Navy and Sand colourways both with our signature paisley lining. Pair with jeans and a polo shirt from the new range, or go super-casual for a day in the stands by throwing it over a tracksuit; the Didsbury Mac works in any situation.

The Mackintosh raincoat, commonly known as the Mac, is a waterproof coat that revolutionised outerwear in the early 19th century. Originally adopted by the army, police and other workers as practical clothing for Britain’s wet climate, over time, the design evolved and transformed into a fashion staple. The Mac complements a wide range of styles and, while it was certainly popularised by the Mods in the 1960s, it has remained a versatile wardrobe essential for all.
